when i get to macking like in that last post and tell too much
i embarass myself and draw back, focus on my work
just got back from minnowbrook presentation, it went well
what i like is i got plenty work done while i was there, thats good
SUNDAY
so when i posted last post on facebook one of my closest friends jacked me up
lot of that power over self not others, love everybody and the game is not impo, etc etc, stuff
i told her thats cool for her, but ima high magician and power is what i do, aint gon be shamed about it either
then she start talking about "whatever blows your skirt up", papa joe was defending me, he say esoteric knowledge aint for everybody, dont worry about it, but obviously she had stung me, i told her:
folk know me know i dont believe in huffing and puffing and blowing folks house down, im pretty much a low profile kind of guy, except sometime when i get to macking and expose more of my trueself than i generally do, otherwise i believe that the low profile is true power - when i do something like this post its because i consider most everything i do a training manual for the conjures who will come after me
told her as a wouldbe prophet of the hoodooway i will w/my life define what
a hoodoo prophet is, what the hoodoo of the future is, thats my plan,
im trying to define the hoodoo of the future as a true power rather than the cultural curiosity it is now
ive set up my game so that it will shape the hoodoos of the future and the % to which i am truly a
significant power is the % to which they will be, when it come to shaping future hoodoos i got to be real
it is only by being true power players that they can truly be custodians of their cultures and have the ability
to take them to higherground - and truly enhance the human condition
folk trying to tie me down kinda like all the folk like west who want obama to be a weak player instead of a strong one
the highmagicians of myth & history have always been powerfreaks, merlin, rasputin, marie laveau, et al, samesame the high magicians of fiction, gandalf the gray, dr strange,
cant be no high magician trying to protect humanity if you dont play power games of the highest order
folk that know know that high magicians have always been part of the historical tapestry, they just find
it difficult to believe that im one - thats cool, gives me more room to play when folk dont take me seriously
but that dont mean ima disarm myself

thing about the hoodooway is you have to conduct yourself as if your game the most significant game of your era (comprehensive enuf to swallow all others) this cause you to take moves to manifest it so, this is the essence of conjuration, conduct yourself as you aspire to be & you are, if you truly understand the hoodoo board of destiny young conjure everybody on the planet work for you
of course now part of good game stance is low profile, so you dont freak like cornel
FRIDAY
look out now, the mothership is landing at the smithsonian afroam museum, is that or is that not funkadelic
actually this is mothership II, mothership I is wandering the mythlanes, i ought to be able to use that somewhere
im consistently asked on airplanes if im george clinton, we obviously from the same tribe, he got the flowers nose
i cant wait to make a pilgrimmage to the mothership, maybe get me a little replica in the gift shop
i suspect im showing my age, wonder what the kids think about the mothership and how it blew folks minds
when it descended to the stage, and as yall well know i believe space is the place, got to get off the planet
and i would blackfolk be at the forefront of that, i would you be a starfaring peoples/culture
PS: interesting, did companion post of this on facebook and just went in, took out the
blackfolk reference and changed endgame to - i would humanity be a starfaring folk
its difficult sometime when you a blackvoice to judge when you should be speaking tribal or universal
im feeling tribe on this one but im reaching for the higher ground of universal, its an ongoing struggle
and in this case i judge that blackfolk dont lose out by me going universal on my starfaring trope
but for instance islam in africa i would like to go universal but i got to speak as tribal guide there
cause islam an agressor religion seriously aggressing and i got to provide defense there, strategy
most of the time i should be going universal, its the progression, but im not going to leave blackfolk
leaderless and without vision - that aint gon happen, have to figure out how to work w/both hands

i have gotten so much work done this last week or so im actually
feeling good about my novel - starting to believe again
when i started this woodshed, it was nothing but fear i would fail
now im feeling groovy, i just might pull this off afterall
cornel took another low blow shot at obama, bringing obama down has
become an obsession with him, i feel for him but hes gotten twisted
its interesting that some of our most prominent public intellectuals, west, tavis and dyson
have set out to take obama down for nothing other than egotrip, it appears too
much media attention is not a good thing

It's 2004, a little known Senator from Detroit makes a speech at the Democratic convention. The eyes of the nation are on him. So are the eyes of the Disney machine. Those eyes are the same that has sanitized Davy Crockett. Those are the eyes that have given us The LionKing. But it's not enough that there is a fictional LionKing. We need that sanitized version in reallife. The Blacks are hungry for it and they're in the bag. Jose Luis Silva, born of a white Michigan Italian descendant mother and an African father from Angola, exhorts all to believe in American Exceptionalism. "Not red states, Not blue states, But the United States!" Harry Reid is excited. A Negro absent a "negro dialect" There! A negro we can get behind. And it's a story that's not just negro. He's electable and Presidential matieral because he's not BlackAmerican alone. Plus, he doesn't make worker friendly speeches. No Jesse Jackson "Hospital workers make beds everyday that they, themselves cannot lay in once they're sick." Hot damn! We're a go! Let's see, we've already pulled in the Blacks, the biracials, the multicultural, and because of the name, though he doesn't have a latin bone in his body, the latinos. How do we get WhiteAmerica? He still looks too Black although he has equal amounts of Black/White blood? Got it! We emphazise he's not bred in some ghetto. He spent most of his formative years in China! That's as far away from BlackAmerica as Indonesha. This is going to work. Why not a regular BlackAmerican? Too much legacy here. We need someone to walk through those WhiteHouse doors whose ancestors couldn't have had a hand in building that structure. Besides, BlackAmericans are still the bogeyman. They're still SusanSmith/Stuart/ and the law enforcer's wife. Meaning in the psyche of mainstream America they drowned SusanSmith's kids, killed Stuart's wife and shot him and raped the law enforcer's wife.(Of course no Blacks were involved in any of those events!) We'll get more whites, at least some, who want to be a part of history, some who will love that his white grandfather stormed the beaches of Normandy, and some who will believe that YES WE CAN. %45. So along with %98 of the BlackVote,%67 of the LatinVote, we'll have a landslide on our hands. And a new real life LionKing. We'll have a corination, complete with a song made popular on the year of the President's birth. It will be sung by an actress who portrayed the original singer, and not the original singer herself, although she's still in good voice. How's that for completing an illusion? Of course, some ranting BuffaloSoldier will see our cynical hand being played, but who will listen to him? YES, WE CAN! SI, SE PUEDE! I'm BuffaloSoldier and I approve this second look
