okay, got to apologize to you for this one, im about to pontificate on you

been in dialogue with nina shope on facebook about her political organizing in obama campaign

then there was this article in the washpost about the right wing ideological network

this reflects what i consider appropriate political activity for artists and intellectuals who want to get engaged

anybody can write your congressman, it takes a player to run longgame

this artilce lays out the evolving rightwing ideological network, we need to figure out how the progressive version of this works, now to better coordinate the elements of our own network, how to be elevating the progressive game so your investment actually make a difference in the game, actually worth the cost in lost pages

if you must devote writing time to political activity it should be activity that actually changes the board

i got to assume somebody in some progressive group somewhere is paid to monitor this stuff, thats what i need to find out, organizing the way i was taught by the visionary john o killens, as a more appropriate use of an intellectuals political efforts,

maybe when this novel is finally done i can free up some time to do some real organizing

in the meantime this blog will have to suffice
