hm9: wisdom works

Hello all

recently sent you two book links, each only 2 dollars kindle, one
on wisdom and one on the historical dev of global ethics

this is become I want you to become both wise and ethical,

we have spoken on our responsibilities as tribal wise
folk, the tribal healer in a contemporary context

I personally have conceded the body to medicine
I can help with holistic practice but real medical
issues I send them on to the appr medical care

what I am is a spiritdoctor

I heal sick souls, this requires
spirtual strength and wisdom

nobody is born wise, whatever wisdom I have
achieved it is because I have sought wisdom

for many years -  an illusive / elusive construct

I study the wisdom texts, both ancient and
contemporary, I ponder upon wisdom and
I note when it applies itself to my daily grind

wisdom tales is my griotic / literary grind

whatever wisdom I possess I worked for it

as you must do, problem is its not a skill
whose benefits are immediately apparent

yet over the years a measure of wisdom
will enable a fruitful rewarding life

and enable you to perform your tribal
function as the tribal medicine person

which gets us to the book on historical
development of global ethics

im still getting thru the wisdom text
will start the ethics text today

this is an even more esoteric skill than wisdom
here you trying to heal an abused culture

primarily afroam culture, our immediate responsibility
as tribal medicine folk but we also looking at the

immensity of the human condition

which is basically humanitys ongoing quest
to be better, to be greater than we are

in the spiritual competition of the great ways
the african way of god has lagged globally

often not even counted as a valid way of
god by the global spiritual community

categorized under primitive / tribal religion

all the great ways have gone thru periods of reform and illumination
the criteria for a viable indigenous tradition is what quality of life

do its believers live,

based on the bottomfeeder status of blackfolk all over the globe
and every quality of life indicator we clearly have work to do
taking the african way of god to its next stage, whatever that is

basically saying if vodou was doing its job haiti wouldn’t be in the shape
its in, same thing could be said about hoodoo and afroam culture

reading about the global evolution of ethics will benefit
you greatly in this task of cultural empowerment

these are esoteric skilz the benefits of which are
not readily apparent but these are the skilz

you need to be the great hoodoo

unless you rather learn how to
make love potions and such

unless that’s your ideal
of spiritual care

drove down to the city, lost two days, down and back is about
15 hrs, the day after ima zombie, lost 2 days work basically

finally last night recovered enuf to get to march 18 got many
gigs coming up, in future get the days work done beforehand

10 dates / beats a day rick, do a little catchup
by end of day i want to be at end of may

as you will see my minimalist nature got the beats tight
the challenge with all my tight work is making sure

its a full beat and not just a fragment / vignette
having to keep faith that they cumulatively will
be more substantive than they seem, or revisions

will make them so, i got to go, every beat here is one
not done there in the Text where it really counts

interesting that todays beat is pacing for the long haul

MAR11:  WHAT OTHERS DREAM
               what others dream I do

once you conscious of yourself as selfguided
and ultimately malleable you shape life to your

liking, you make a plan, you gain the necessary
skills, you position yourself, you assume you
can do anything anybody else has done

implementation is a process, don’t
expect a win, expect a struggle

and always be willing to do a little more than anybody else
would - you are the ascensionist, are you not, what others

dream you do,

the greatest / only failure is not trying
dream on, playa, make it happen

wow, its been a month since ive posted
deeply invested in 'the hoodoo way'

need to poick up steam so ima keep a record
im on march 11th now, ima put the last

beat of each days work up, goal is 10 dates a day
but i dont know what im averagin cause i aint been

keeping record, we will see, doing it public keeps
me honest, force me to do what i say Ima do

they rough and raw aint gon put
final product up, i mean really

1st ima do january 1st and 2nd to remind you of the concept

unfortunately ive reached that point where it bores me, and
i am acutely conscious od how shallow, even trite, it is

but i do not abandon a project, finish the draft is my code

i will drive thru to end and judge it then

if i judge it in process i will discourage myself

                 I am soul, forged thru the fire, a spiritual work of art

the new year is always about renewal, assessing the lessons
of the year just past, considering the challenges ahead

I was once asked after a reading what is the meaning of
life, I said I do not know and the crowd went. ‘oooooo’

now I think I would answer that the point of life is soulwork,
crafting out of the raw material we have been given a great soul

I believe at birth we are given a soul, a fertile blend of the
personal / the collective / and divinity, I believe we are expected
in our lifetime to shape raw soul into a spiritual work of art

the spiritual life doesnt just happen, it is an active choice,
nurturance of the soul is the goal of this Work –

initiation of the soul is not a given, we, all of us, start
life ignorant & asleep, as we mature our understanding
of real increases and we conduct ourselves accordingly

everything benefits from the conscious
life, a deeper plane of engagement

it behooves you, dear traveler, to be soulful,
you don’t get but one life, make it count
