i am in a serious funk, got sciatica so bad cant
get out of bed in the morning wo seriously
dosing myself w/pain pills, ive ordered a walker
just for the ordeal of getting to bathroom

and i am afraid

i am afraid of my novel, im thinking
do it one more time, and im thinkng
dont reject it just cause the industry

(and all my friends) have, i keep glancing
at i, it reads fine with me, so ima have
to reject this defeatiism and like i did w/
the hoodoo book of flowers, do it for me

and the generations, then publish it myself

i finished my memoir and im very pleased with what i have done
tried to do a quic revision of almanac but ive lost faith in it, there
are a nmilllion of those daily devotionals out there, i like to think
mine is deepr but is it

i pulled out the conjures tales, my gaphic AI
works with stories, i had many great graphic but the
stories are weak so i cut the 100 or so graphic works

down to about 30 of the most promising and in
each case gon open up the paragraph flashes

to flashes of a couple of pages

but thats an ongoing project ima just
do forever, many of the stories are
from the novel so now im thinking
what to do w/novel, i want to make it
an interrogation of my mythwork
the illuminated children of the sun
the long march of the 1stborn

its going to be diff but i dont know how
and im afraid to even start and face this last failure
